      Many people presume that the United States is, or was and should be, a Christian nation.     Assuredly God has blessed His Word in this country surpassing most others. It is conceivable that the impending Rapture of true believers will significantly reduce the population of America.     The problem is: How much of my life as a bondslave of Jesus Christ can be consecrated to improving this world? Bought with a price, am I at liberty to use my body as I please, or at the dictates of peers and culture? May I optionally dedicate my gifts from the risen Savior to objectives deemed worthy by men, themselves Christ-rejecters? Did my Savior set me free, to do my own thing? Go wherever I choose? Since I afterward received several e-mails asking me if I voted in the election, I thought I would explain to a wider audience why I didn’t vote. Reading Electing Not to Vote did not persuade me to not vote. I was already a Christian non-voter. Although, as I mentioned in a 2012 article titled “ My View of Politics ,” I am a student of, and a commentator on, politics, I am not political in any way. Not only do I not vote, I don’t donate to political campaigns, endorse candidates, campaign for anyone, frequent political events, or watch political debates. "Tempus Fugit" No, friends,  it isn’t a new chocolate dessert, nor the name of some movie!  It’s a Latin expression that means, “time flies”.  Have you ever seen time fly?
